A martial arts school was managing tournaments using Excel spreadsheets, which caused issues with registration, bracket assignments and delays in score calculation. We developed a comprehensive tournament management desktop application that digitized and streamlined the entire competition workflow.
The system simplifies competitor management and bracket assignments and includes a distributed scoring network where multiple judges use a special version of our application to input scores simultaneously. The judges' scores are instantly synchronized with the primary system which provides real-time ranking of competitor standings within each bracket.
This system eliminated scoring data entry errors, reduced administrative overhead and provided competitors and spectators with immediate access to current standings throughout the event.
